Dominic Keating Estrogen Brigade
Fan Fiction

Submission Guidelines

  1. The Dominic Keating Estrogen Brigade does NOT accept Real Person Fiction. This is any type of story where one of the main characters is a real person, such as Dominic Keating or the author or any of the people Dominic has worked with. Any submissions deemed to be Real Person Fiction will be returned to the submitter.

  2. All fics submitted must be Dominic Keating related. In other words, must feature a character Dominic Keating portrayed.

  3. All fics submitted must contain a header with the following elements: Title, Author, Rating, Genre (General, Het, or Slash), Pairing (If Het or Slash), Summary, and either the body of the fic or a link to where the fic is archived.

  4. All fics submitted much contain warnings if it contains elements a reader might not wish to read (i.e. Alternate Universe, Death Fic, Non-consensual sex, etc).

  5. The Archivist will accept fics either cut and pasted into an e-mail message, or as an attachment to the e-mail.

  6. Attachments will only be accepted in text (.txt) format or Microsoft Word (.doc) format.

  7. Please, in order to make your stories easier to read, insert a blank line in between paragraphs. Easiest way to to this - when you come to the end of a paragraph, hit ENTER twice.

  8. Also, to make stories easier to read, run a spell check program on them before submitting them. Most Word Processing programs have spell checkers built in.

  9. Include the e-mail address you would like readers to use to send you feedback.
  10. If the Archivist and the Webmistress determine that a fic is not suitable for posting on the DKEB, we will return the story to you. Fics may be determined to be unsuitable for posting if they are unlabelled (see above) or are clearly mislabelled or contain inappropriate content.

  11. If your fic is returned, please do not be discouraged. You can always re-work and resubmit it, or feel free to submit a different fic. We have limited webspace, so we are going to be picky about what we post. If you like, you can always post to one of the fiction mailing lists posted on the Links page.

  12. After you have read these Guidlines, e-mail your fic to the Archivist.
